Ice Bear

Time stood still as we silently observed: transfixed. He is ten feet long and weighs 1,4000 pounds. He moves with slow efficiency because he cannot afford to any waste energy in the harsh tundra.

His enormous furry feet serve as natural snowshoes. He moves between crunching snow and drifting ice with ease.

I pause to consider what might be on his mind. I think it’s probably LUNCH (seals).
